Who We Become in Christ

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives, even unto death."–Revelation 12:11

Have you ever stopped to think about the power of our words–especially our spoken words? Did you know that the Bible says the words we speak have the power of life over us?? (Proverbs 18:21). That's one powerful message our very real enemy, Satan, hopes we'll NEVER take seriously.

If you have RECEIVED Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your soul, the following lists some wonderful Biblical declarations which state who you have become in the Lord Jesus Christ. If you have received Christ, then you can speak out loud the words of these Scriptures. God's Word will go forth and will accomplish that which He has purposed (Isaiah 55:10-11).

I am a CHILD OF GOD for I am born again of the incorruptible seed of the Word of God which lives and abides in me. –1 Peter 1:23, John 1:12-14

I am FORGIVEN of all my sins and washed in the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. –1 John 1:7,9

I am a NEW CREATURE in Christ Jesus. –2 Corinthians 5:17

I am the TEMPLE of the Holy Spirit of God. –1 Corinthians 3:16

I am DELIVERED from the power of darkness and TRANSLATED into God's Kingdom. –Colossians 1:13

I am REDEEMED from the curse of the law of sin and death. –Romans 8:2, Galatians 3:13-14

I am BLESSED of my Heavenly Father. –Ephesians 1:3

I am a SAINT; BELOVED of God. –Romans 1:7

I am HOLY and WITHOUT BLAME before God in love. –Ephesians 1:4

I am made nigh to God by the blood of Christ Jesus. –Ephesians 2:13

I am SET FREE by God's Word. –John 8:32, 17:17

I am STRONG in the Lord my God. –2 Timothy 1:7

I am MORE THAN A CONQUEROR in Christ Jesus. –Romans 8:37

I am joint heirs with Christ Jesus. –Romans 8:16-17

I am SEALED with the Holy Spirit of promise. –Ephesians 1:13-14

I am ACCEPTED in the Beloved of God. –Ephesians 1:6

I am COMPLETE in Christ Jesus. –Colossians 2:10

I am CRUCIFIED with Christ Jesus. –Galatians 2:20

I am ALIVE with Christ Jesus. –Romans 6:11, 1 Corinthians 15:22

I am FREE FROM CONDEMNATION. –Romans 8:1

I am RECONCILED to God by Christ Jesus. –Romans 5:10, 2 Corinthians 5:18

I am a fellow CITIZEN with the saints and of the household of God. –Ephesians 2:19

I am built upon the firm foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the Chief Cornerstone. –Ephesians 2:20

I am still IN the world but no longer OF the world. –John 17:16

I am the SALT of the earth. –Matthew 5:13

I am the LIGHT of the world. –Matthew 5:14, John 8:12

I am the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD in Christ Jesus. –Romans 3:22, 2 Corinthians 5:21

I am a partaker of God's divine nature. –2 Peter 1:4

I am of the first fruits among God's creation. –James 1:18

I am an AMBASSADOR for Christ Jesus. –2 Corinthians 5:20

I am GOD'S WORKMANSHIP; created in Christ Jesus for good works. –Ephesians 2:10

I am HEALED by the stripes of Christ Jesus. –Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24

I am being changed into the image of Christ Jesus. –Romans 8:29

I am raised up with Christ and seated in heavenly places. –Ephesians 2:6

I have been given ACCESS by the Holy Spirit unto the Father. –Ephesians 2:18

I have the peace of God which passes all understanding. –Philippians 4:7

I have received the power of the Holy Spirit; power to lay hands on the sick and see them recover; power to cast out demons; or speak in new tongues; POWER OVER ALL the power of the enemy. –Acts 1:8, Mark 16:17-18, Luke 10:19

I can do ALL THINGS through Christ Jesus who strengthens me. –Philippians 4:13

Greater is He who is IN ME than he who is in the world. –1 John 4:4
